During my recent holiday stay at Auberge De La Planeze, I found a cozy little retreat perfect for a peaceful overnight escape. We were greeted with a clean and comfortable room, equipped with a flat-screen TV and a cozy work desk, which came in handy for planning our adventures. The highlight was definitely the generous continental breakfast—plenty of delicious options paired with excellent coffee to kickstart our day. Though we arrived late and missed dinner at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of excellent restaurants just a short drive away in St Flour. Mme Bertrand ensured our stay was smooth with clear communication, giving us the door code via SMS and making check-in a breeze. I can see this gem being a go-to spot in the Cantal regions for quick getaways or road trips with friends. The combination of hospitality and local charm makes it a place I wouldn't hesitate to visit again!
